Airbrush Makeup
Airbrush makeup is a very interesting kind of makeup which uses a different technique to be applied on face. There are many tools needed in airbrush makeup as well. So if you are considering applying it, then here is how you can do it.
Tools required for the airbrush makeup application
You would need airbrush compressor, bottled water, airbrush wand which is known as pen sometimes, makeup foundation and hose that connects the compressor with wand. One needs to get this whole kit from the market if you want to do airbrush makeup.
How to Apply Airbrush Makeup
To apply foundation, put a few drops into the cut that has been designated along with some drops of water. Look into the instructions given in the kit as every brand has its own set of instructions. Now, hold the band at a distance of at least 8 inches from your face and then spray the mixture in small gentle circles over the neck and face. Make sure that you do not keep the wand still. Always keep it moving and do not spray into eyes. If you can, keep the eyes closed while doing the whole process. After this, allow it to dry and redo the process if second coat is required.
There is no need of setting powder after this. For the type of foundation, you have two options to choose from. One is silicone based and another one is water based. Professionals recommend silicone one as it gives a flawless brush. You could even airbrush the eye shadow and blush. However, for these you would need a special nozzle for the wand. However, you can apply normal blush and eye shadow as well.
Airbrush Advantages
The airbrush makeup lasts for at least 20 hours which means that you can enjoy the look you have donned for a long time. It would not smear off at all or disappear in skin pores. Some of the foundations and kits can be applied on legs as well to conceal veins and to hide discoloration.
Airbrush Disadvantages
It is quite an expensive affair. Especially, buying kit could be really expensive. Then applying make up is time consuming. If you are not getting it done by someone else, then to be protected you need to keep eyes closed. Applying makeup with closed eyes is something not everybody is good at! Also you cannot carry the makeup of airbrush unlike other makeup.
