80s makeup was very different from the present fashion of makeup. The first thing that one would notice about 80’s makeup is that it was way too much. It was almost like one is paining the face with colors. The accentuated cheek bones and bold eyes were the key features of 80s makeup.

Firstly, wash your face and then apply a mild cleanser. Make sure that when you begin to apply makeup, your face is dry. Always make use of make- up sponge and never use fingers to apply makeup. Then for the blending part, take a large make- up brush. Blend the makeup well with it and then move to the next step.

Take eye liner and line the top lid and the skin under the eyes. Now make sure that the amount of it is a lot because after applying it, you have to smear it. Make use of fingers to smear it over eyes. Then, brush some of the black eye shadow over the liner as it protects the face. This happens because of shadow as then the liner would not drip off your face.
Eye lash curler is a must have to sport the 80’s makeup. Curl the lashes till they stand up. Then apply several coats of mascara over it lengthwise. For this, wiggle the wand of mascara up and down over the lashes. For eye shadow, there are no rules. Apply it the way you do in present time. Apply shadow till it touches the brow line at least.
Finally for the lips, apply a good shade of lipstick and then end the process with the application of clear lip gloss.
